Our Commitment to Reducing Waste

Dear valued customers,

At Isetan, we recognize the need to reduce our carbon footprint and protect the environment for future generations. In line with government initiatives and our own commitment to sustainability, we are pleased to announce that we will be implementing a new policy to reduce plastic and paper waste in our stores.

Starting from 1 May 2023, we will be charging 5-cents per plastic bag and 10-cents per paper bag for all walk-in customers. This initiative aims to encourage our customers to bring their reusable bags and reduce the usage of single-use plastic and paper bags.

We understand that this may be an inconvenience for some customers, but we believe that this small fee will go a long way in reducing waste and protecting the environment. We hope that our customers will join us in this effort to create a more sustainable future for everyone.

Please note that this charge is not applicable to purchases from the Isetan Online Store.
