This Barley Shochu Base Umeshu is made by steeping high quality plum from Miyazaki Prefecture in authentic honkaku shochu.
The original plum liquor is using fully ripen Nanko plums made in Nichinan, Miyazaki prefecture. Once plums are ripened and naturally dropped from the tree, then picked by hand. The old method of plum liquor preparation is usually done at home, brewed plums and rock sugar in honkaku shochu. Please enjoy the clean and refreshing taste. (12% alcohol)
