Country: Cobieres, France
Alcohol Level: 13.5%
Grape Varietal: 35% Grenache, 30% Syrah, 20% Mourvdre, 15% Carignan
Tasting Notes: Beautiful, strong, intense colour. The nose is initially characterized by notes from the maturing stage with cocoa and a slight woodiness, these are followed by the traditional notes of garrigue and spices. The attack is clean and well-balanced. There is plenty of freshness with already well-integrated plump tannins, and a slightly peppery finish.
Goes well with: Lamb chops, Curries, Beef
Awards: Decanter (2014) - 88 points, Wine Spectator (2014) - 87 points
