This rice is the result of 20 years of experience until achieving the best flavor and consistency. The producer is a second generation farmer who decided to continue his father legacy by applying his traditional cultivation techniques on this rice variety.
Cultivated with crystal clear water flowing from Mt. Tenzan in Saga prefecture in southern Japan. The rich soil free of chemical fertilizers, insecticides, and herbicides provides the best nutrition for this exceptional quality rice.
The secret for cultivating delicious rice without using pesticides and chemical fertilizers is using rice bran. The rice bran remaining after milling brown rice is full of nutrition. The rice bran is sprinkled together with the seedlings when planting rice and becomes food for the soil microorganisms. The microorganisms produce a great variety of nutrients which makes rice healthy and prevent weeds proliferation.
To maximize the shelf life of rice, store in a cool dry area. After opening the package, place the uncooked rice in a sealed airtight container or place original package in a resalable heavy-duty freezer bag.
